P.O.D.S aims to offer support, friendship and information for parents and
carers of children with Down's Syndrome.
The organisation aims to;
(1) Provide support, friendship and information for parents and carers of children with Down's Syndrome in the London Borough of Barnet and the surrounding areas.
(2) Enhance the opportunities and improve the quality of life for children with Down's Syndrome by providing social and leisure time activities.
(3) Raise awareness of the needs of parents and carers of children with Down's Syndrome.
We achieve this by;
(1) Meeting on a monthly basis at Sweets Way Community Centre, Sweets Way, Whetstone N20. Click here for map.
(2) Sending a monthly newsletter containing minutes from meetings and other relevant information.
(3) Organising social events for all members and their families and friends.
(4) Creating opportunities for our members to share information regarding seminars and lectures which take place throughout the year across the country.
